Site Feedback
SaveOurSnow.com receives 95% positive feedback but about one in 20 emails argue that global warming is not happening or have some other disagreement with some or all of the information we have on the site. Here are some examples:
"Quit all the hype about global warming- it will eventually snow!"
"This note is from 8200' elevation in Colorado. we just had a cold snap with temps well below zero. There is eight inches of snow on the ground. I had a devil of a time starting my vehicle. From my standpoint I have not a clue as to where all this blather about Global Warming is coming from . . . IT'S COLD UP HERE MAN!!!! But to rebut your webpage on the premise about 'global warming' - the truth is that it is all junk science - there is nothing proved about global warming - not a bit - it is more religion than science. I must say I really resent people like you trying to cram this junk down my throat and the throat of societies - forcing them to make unnecessary changes and spend billions of dollars to fix a problem that does not need to be fixed. People like you - so damned gullible to the pompous pseudo-scientist are a pox to society."
"I would like to introduce the factors of global warming which have not been taken in to account. The thing which immediately comes to my mind is the fact that the gulf stream has slowed by over 25%....this means the warm moist air which we see coming in from the south west will become less frequent which leaves an equally balanced factor that we in Britain will receive more continental air like the rest of Europe on our latitude. So winters may actually even themselves out with global warming and a drop in the temperature by a couple of degrees...."
"Call me biased, but I know for a fact that resorts in the US have significantly better environmental programs than our counterparts in Europe. I spoke at a conference of European ski areas several years ago and I was astonished by the lack of sustainability programs, knowledge and commitment to the issue... I would say the system is incredibly biased from a Euro-centric perspective and is entirely too simplistic ...I don't know why US resorts would want to be featured at all."
"Our snow is great! Come to the U.S. and enjoy...and repay some of the fortune we've spent protecting you wankers for the past sixty years."
